A CHARTER ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN CITY, KANSAS, EXEMPTING THE CITY OF BALDWIN CITY FROM PORTIONS OF K.S.A. 15-204.

Section 1. The City of Baldwin City, Kansas, by the power vested in it, under the appropriate Kansas law, elects to make inapplicable to it and exempt itself from K.S.A. 15-204.

Section 2. The city council shall develop and implement policies and procedures for employing, evaluating, and retaining or not retaining in employment all non-elected personnel, including those enumerated in K.S.A. 15-204.

Section 3. City code articles 1-301 through and including 1-319 are hereby repealed.
